Adult Services

The Workforce WV Career Center provides free services to help you reach your career goals.  Three types of services are available to customers seeking to improve their work-related skills and reach their maximum potential.  Career development professionals at the Workforce WV Career Center help customers identify which type of service best meets their work-related needs. 

“Core Services” include:          

  • Job Search Strategy Assistance

  • Job Skills Assessment

  • Interest Assessment

  • Resume and Application Assistance

  • Job Interview Preparation and Planning

  • Job Placement Assistance

  • Labor Market Information  

“Intensive Services” include:

  • Comprehensive Assessments

  • Counseling

  • Career Planning

Customers who are unable to find employment through intensive services may receive “training services”.   

“Training Services” include:

  • Basic Skills Training

  • Job Training

  • Customized Training

  • Technical Skills Training

Customers must first register with the Workforce WV Career Center to participate in these training opportunities.
